Happy Valley Day Facility Tried to scam me out of money on my paycheck Columbus Georgia

I worked for this place for three days , thats all I could handle of it. I called and ask what day my check would be in and they told me that it would be there Friday, but I would have to bring my shirts back in on Friday, and I would have to come back on Tuesday and pick my check up. That , that was their rules. I said ok then. I called Tuesday about my check and I was told that it was sent back because my background check fee wasn't taken out of it ,

I asked when I come to pick my check up if they would give me a copy of it or proof that they really did do a background check cause I was paying out of my check for it and the Owner told me no and not to call or come on the property to get my check, that when she felt nessassary to send it that she would. I called the Georgia Department of hour and wage in Atlanta, the lady there told me by law since I was only making minimum wage that they couldn't take the money out of my check.

She contacted Happy Valley and the Owner got hateful with the lady from Georgia Department of Labor. She was advised to have my check redirected to me with nothing taken out but taxes or they would get in trouble. The Owner still didn't believe the lady from G.D.O.L. , she had to fax the Owner a legal paper stating all this.  This place wants to take money out of your check illeally . They want you to pay for everything background check, TB Test, Mvr Report, but yet they don't even make you take a drug test .

Sounds like somthing fishy there . All other jobs I worked first thing you do is take a drug test  !!  They don't even require one. I have reported this place also on how people is treated there . They are there from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. and they only change the diapers once and that right before they go home. I would never leave anybody there , it is so low I wouldn't leave my animal there !! If your looking for a job or a place to have your loved one stay during the day stay clear of Happy Valley Day Facility !!!
