Hard Drive Data Recovery Services California Data Services, Crooks Ruined Hard Drive Los Angeles, California

Total scam artists, trust me. Took my hard drive there two years ago. Charged me after "initial inspection" claiming they could recover my data. Then calls me a day later claiming my drive was unusable. 

In fact, they opened my drive improperly and in a non-sterile room, destroying it as I found out from a technician who actually knows what he's doing (he's expensive, and I was too cheap to take it to him the first time -- you get what you pay for) and exclaimed "Did you open this yourself in your bedroom???"

That tells you all you need to know.

This bogus operation runs under many different names: California Data Services, Data Recovery Los Angeles, and Hard Drive Data Recovery. They have many different websites, which is already sketchy, and a couple of different addresses -- I'd assume to keep the feds off their tails.

They put positive reviews all over the internet which is how they stay in business, because if government regulators were doing their jobs they would have been shut down years ago.

These guys suck, they don't know what you're doing, they'll ruin not recover your hard drive, and they'll take your money. Visit the office. It's in a run down building, totally sketch. 

It was not smart of me to use their fraudulent "services" even with my reservations. I paid the price so you don't have to. Stay far, far away.
