I have a super low profile mattress that's difficult to find sheets for. The Hard To Find Sheets website was the only place I could find linens with that low a rise. These sheets were advertised as "Super Comfortable Combed Cotton Percale Weave" but I've slept on cotton all my life and there is no way these are cotton sheets.
These sheets have a very synthetic feel. They feel almost like plastic, in fact. The closest thing I can compare them to is hospital sheets. They squeak when they rub together. They come out of the dryer covered with lots of very sharp little creases, not the softer folds you get on actual cotton. At first, I thought, well, maybe they've got some kind of coating that will wash out, but if anything they actually feel worse after washing.
Also, while the fitted sheet was reduced for the low profile mattress, the top sheet was not, so it falls almost to the ground on the sides and onto the ground at the bottom, piling up on the floor at the foot of the bed.
The website gives no physical address for the company.
Because these are the only sheets I can find to fit, and because they go on a rarely used bed, I decided to keep them even though they are not as advertised, but I wanted to warn others about this ripoff. If you want synthetic sheets that feel very synthetic (and I don't mean rayon or polyester, I mean like plastic) then go ahead and buy these. But if you want cotton, steer clear because that's not what you're going to get.

Cotton does not stand up on end after being removed from the washer

Unfortunately I neglected to include the video with my initial report. There is no way that a 100% cotton sheet will stand on end like a stick when removed from the wash. That does not happen. Here is a video of a pillowcase from my sheet set compared to an actual cotton pillowcase straight out of the washer:

I have no idea what these sheets are actually made of, but I'm in my 50s and I've slept on a lot of cotton sheets in my years and I know what it feels like, looks like, sounds like, and acts like. This ain't it. I stand firmly by my statement that these are not "super comfortable combed cotton percale weave" as advertised. Not even close.

We purposely do not have wrinkle free coating placed on our products as in time these coatings begin to come off and your sheets will pill. This is why you will see wrinkles in this cotton product as natural cotton will do that and of course this item is not a sateen weave so it will have sharper wrinkles.
The Super Low Profile product is a percale weave which means it is not as smooth as a sateen weave. Many consumers are now moving towards the feel of the classic percale weave. If you want a softer wrinkle and a smoother feel, we also offer sateen weaved products on the website.
By following the care instructions you will be able to eliminate most wrinkles:
Simply wash solo, with no bleach or fabric softener. Tumble dry on low heat, immediately remove when dry and place on your bed for best results. Do not over dry cotton or launder in high heat as you can warp cotton threads.
