Hargraves and associates were advertising and the radio that they can repair and remove all negative items off of your credit report. When I spoke with them they stated that the credit repair would take around 6 months. I paid the $300 around March 2008 and after I received my credit reports I was to send them to Hargrave. I sent the reports and they stated that letters would come from the agencies who was going to be in question on my reports and I was to make a copy and send it to them. I never received any letters and have not been able to get in contact with Hargrave since. I would like my money back since what they stated would be done has not been done.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) says do yourself a favor and save some money, too. Don't believe these claims: they're very likely signs of a scam. Indeed, attorneys at the nation's consumer protection agency say they've never seen a legitimate credit repair operation making those claims. The fact is there's no quick fix for creditworthiness. You can improve your credit report legitimately, but it takes time, a conscious effort, and sticking to a personal debt repayment plan.

They were placed into receivership by federal District Court on Oct 23, 2008.
The prosecuting attorney is Jessica Gray.
If you go to the FTC.GOV website and do a search for hargrave and associates you will find the complete complaint and the contact information for the COURT and the prosecuting attorney.
Good luck.
