Susie Or Suzy McClain At Harold Allen Realty Ripoff Dishonest uncaring coldhearted property manager Tacoma Washington

My family and I attempted to rent a house from Harold Allen Realty and Suzy (or Susie). We should have known that we were dealing with an uncaring person when she left my family, wife 8 year old and 18 month old, and I sitting in front of the house for 15 minutes, while she finished a phone call in her toast warm SUV or truck. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it was windy and very cold, bad for the baby.

We viewed the house, liked it and inquired about the screening process. Inititially she said that cats, we have two, might be a problem, but she said she was sure she could talk the owner into taking the cats. We were upfront with our credit problems, and told her that we hoped she would look at our positive tenant history.

After paying $35 for the tenant screening, she called and told us that cats were not okay and that she had not run the screening. I called back and told her that we had made plans for just such an occurance and to run the check. She seemed suspicious, like we were going to smuggle the cats in.

Originally she told us that it would take just a day or less to run the screen, and as we were required to move out in just 20 days, every day was crucial.

We called the next day, and got no response. We called that Monday and still no return from her. Finally, I decided to bypass her cell phone and call the office direct. They didn't know anything about the status of our report and told me that she was out of state.

Tuesday, two more calls and no returns, finally Wednesday I got ahold of Suzy and asked about the status of our application. She said our credit was just too bad to rent to, acceptable, because our credit is bad. However, when I asked her if the landlord references were good, she said that they were not contacted because I had not included phone numbers, which is a lie.

So, to sum it all up, this vacant, uncaring shell of a human, wasted six days of precious house hunting time and didn't fully check out our references. Sigh. I'm not a bad person, but I fully wish a whole lot of hate onto this person for stressing out me and my family.
