Harrahs Hotel Casino LAUGHLIN NEVADA "up-grade" room, charge more money, and then... when you are paying for a room at more than a hundred dollars a night (in Laughlin, mind you) they put me in a beautiful room overlooking the Colorado River, but you can't enjoy the view or the room... due to the fact there are "problems" with their windows. The problems consist of water and condensation being "trapped" in between the window panes... Laughlin Nevada

"Up-grade" room, charge you more money, and then...when you are paying for a room at more than a hundred dollars a night (in Laughlin, mind you) read on:

They put me in a beautiful room overlooking the Colorado River (that's good,) but you can't enjoy the view or the room...due to the fact there are "problems" with their windows. The problems consist of water and condensation being "trapped" in between the window panes...so you can't see through the windows clearly...so much for a view...their was so much water in-between the panes...that you might as well have been in Portland Oregon, trying to look out at a window with rain blowing against it!

Arrived at 1pm...was told that if I waited till 4pm (3 hours!) that they would upgrade me to this "great room and view." So I waited.

I entered the room, noticed the problem...but I still un-packed BECAUSE I had just waited THREE HOURS for the room...and honestly, with all my previous dealings with Harrah's Entertainment, I knew that "they" would "do something" to keep me, a good guest and customer, happy.

Apparently, all the crappy people who work for Harrah's Entertainment...they "send" them to LAUGH-Land...because what an ordeal I was in for.

Being Easter Weekend, all the people with ANY authority were off! This included BRENDON TALLY, Hotel Director and MICHELLE HETZEL, Hotel Operations Manager.

Checked in at 4pm, let two front desk staff members "know" of the problem and both stated that "Engineering" would immediately come to the room to see if "anything" could be done.

As I write my comments here, I have received no calls, and no one has come to the room as promised (its now 8pm...so four hours have passed...no one, obviously "coming to the room-immediately!)

I would like to nominate "Melinda Level," Front Desk "something" (wasn't clear on her title or "role.") But, it obviously consisted of 1) Don't do any little thing to make the guest happy, 2) Moving me a football-field an-a-half across the property, to another tower...is not my idea of "solving the issue!"

Ok, and here's the best one from her: If I'm not "happy" with Harrah's Customer/Guest Service...she "suggested" and 9I'm putting that nicely)...that I leave and found "other accommations "else-where" in town. BELIEVE ME, had it not been "Easter Weekend," I would have happily done so.

I just booked MILLIONS OF Convention Business with Harrahs Entertainment in Las Vegas at Ballys and the Paris Hotels.

So what do you think I'm going to do THE FIRST DAY I'M BACK AT WORK regarding these two Las Vegas Conventions...I think I've already seen "enough" of how Harrahs...is willing to take care of their guests to make them comfortable during their stays.

I'm not going to let them (Harrahs) "embarrass" me with my bosses...time to call that guy back from MGM-Mirage...I'm sure he would be happy to have my convention business!!!!
