Harriet Weinberger Director of the law guardian panel and 18b panel for Long Island and Queens 2nd Dept.of Appellate Courts director for years of panel of 18b lawyers and lawyers appointed for representation of children. This director fails to look into allegations of misconduct of lawyers and fails to ensure that they adequately represent their clients.  Harriet Weinberger must be replaced as supervisor of the 2nd Department of Appellate Division's 18b panel lawyers and lawyers appointed for children. She fails to properly monitor that the lawyers are doing their jobs effectively, that they are on time, that they are actually in court, and she allows them to put in inadequate papers and to do what they want. The lawyers gossip about litigants and are all friends with each other and do whatever the judges who sign their vouchers want. The system is flawed and it is that way on purpose. Stop the abuses to litigants and their families and lobby to have Ms. Weinberger replaced asap and the system revamped. Look into her panel and find that lawyers such as Audrey Sager, Harvey Jacobs, and Steve Gassman are on the panel and they are high power lawyers and this is a serious conflict of interest so lets stand up and fight the abuse to the people of our city and state. Pls. send your complaints to the inspector general, the grievance committee, to the FBI, and to the chief judges. She allows many incompetent and abusive lawyers stay on the panel who harm litigants and their families.
