Hartford Insurance Co. ripoff Hartford Connecticut

I was in an accident that was not my fault and the Hartfrd Insurance co. refussed to allow me to get any estimates at all. They estimated it at half what 3 garages estimated to me.

They ripped me off and I couldn't get my car repaired because I didn't get half enough to do the job. They were very rude and hateful. Said I could use one of their garages. However, there aren't any close to me.

I cancelled my policy and had more paid on it than I had used in coverage and they should have reimbursed me but instead the sent me a bill for $64.00 and said they are charging me 10% of the total bill for a cancelltion fee. If I don't pay they will turn me over to a collection bureau.

They use their on appraiser who is "Biased" and will not allow any other estimates. You take what they give yu and they said i had to use only "Used Parts" to keep the cost down. Rip-Off!!
