Stay far away from Shawn Anthony and Harvest Moon Motion Pictures. I met Shawn in 2011 when he was casting for a movie called “Soulmate.” He claimed that the movie was already backed by famous studios and would be marketed on Redbox and released to theaters. Somehow Johnny Depp was involved, but I never saw him. Filmed the movie in Maryland, along with a lot of local actors. Promised deferred pay “of course,” meals, a copy of the DVD, etc. He had a big crew and things seemed professional. Before he finished filming his first film, he then began casting for a second project, “Vampires: Rise of the Fallen.” I was cast in that, and than a third “The American Werewolf Project.” So many over blown promises about studios, premieres, wrap parties, etc. None of them happened. None. Each project he began before he was finished with the previous film. So, the promises of distribution, pay, and premieres seemed reachable because the previous film wasn’t finished, and so “just wait until I’m done with Project A, and then we’ll have a premiere and release.” Out of the three films I worked with him, his crew became smaller and smaller and never the same people on crew. By the third film I did with him, he was the camera man. He claimed he had soooo many scripts he wanted to shoot, had people in CA he was meeting with, dropped names of known actors that were going to be cast, etc. I never received one DVD of any project I did. No parties, no premieres, no money. He cast his girlfriend, Jessica Felice, as the lead in each project, and still continues to do so! What a joke. Never completed one project before he began casting AND filming the next! He was supposed to have moved to Hollywood, because of his many connections, but was living in his girlfriend’s mother’s home in Maryland. Do not work with him.
