Hatchwise (George Wesley Ryan) Geekface, LLC Fraudulently Holds Winners' Payments for 4-6 Months Georgetown, New York

This company is a scam and I believe engaging in fraud.  I have used many graphic design and naming competition sites and this  is the worst I've ever experienced.  There have been numerous complaints on their forum and other sites like SiteJabber of winnings being held 4 to 6 months for no reason which I believe is fraudulent and illegal.  The owners rarely respond to emails, and when they do they are rude and arrogant indicating they have the right to do whatever they want. Contests usually must pay winners within 30 days. They state in their hard-to-find "terms and conditions" in very fine print that they pay monthly on the 1st and 14th, but then immediately following that say they can hold your funds for up to 6 months if they want to for no reason. I was not given a reason and mine are being held for 4 months (I have a printout of everything). They then add on top of the fee they get from the buyer a fee taken out of your winnings of another 20%-25% allegedly due to "Paypal's rising fees" (which are only a fraction of this).  Another illegal aspect I believe is that the buyer paid for the use of the logo or name provided to them and they should not be using it in commerce when the creative has not even been paid and the transaction has not been completed.  I plan to report them to the New York Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau in the Georgetown, NY area where they are located, and any federal internet crime and fraud bureaus.
