My vehicle is still in shipment but I felt compelled to write this review so others don't make the mistake that I did.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!  THEY ARE LIARS AND MANIPULATORS OF TRUTH!!!

I am in the military and needed to ship a personally owned vehicle from Hawaii to Rhode Island.  It seemed as they were the cheapest service available.  The fact that their communication in reference to my initial interest was very responsive only led me to believe that this company was exactly what I needed.  I WAS WRONG!  ONCE YOU SWIPE THAT CREDIT CARD, THEY COULD CARE LESS!

I dropped my vehicle off at their Sand Island contracted facility on 12JUN15.  My delivery date to Los Angeles was agreed upon as 20JUN15.  My date available for the vehicle to be delivered to Rhode Island was 29JUN15.  This all seemed a reasonable timeframe to get the vehicle from Hawaii to Rhode Island.

I called in late June to confirm the delivery date for my vehicle.  I was told that the vehicle arrived in Los Angeles but they were waiting for a car carrier to take my car to Rhode Island.  I would think that as a contracted company for which I paid over $2000 that booking would have been pre-arranged.  It was not.  I continued to call and request status updates online.  I was consistently told that it would be in a couple of days.

I phoned on July 6th and informed them that I would be out of town from July 10th to the 19th.  They called back and said that it was perfect because my car would arrive in Rhode Island on July 20th.  Everything now, even though delayed, seemed to be working out.

On July 20th, I called at 2 pm and asked about my vehicle since the car transport driver hadn't called and I suspected that if he were to deliver a vehicle on that day, he would want to set up a more specific time.  During the 2 pm phone call I was told that the car transport truck had broken down and there would be a delay.  They were going to call the sub-contracted company and call me back.  I was told that the last delivery usually took place no later than 9pm.  I waited for them to call but that never happened.  I called back at 8:30 pm and asked whether my car would be delivered that evening.  I was told that they were trying to figure it out.  I informed them that they could call or e-mail me whatever time they figured it out.  After all, my wife and 6 year old son had been stuck in the house with no vehicle since June 22nd.

On July 21st, I called again at 2pm to ask about the delivery of my vehicle since I still hadn't received a call from the car transport driver or e-mail.  I was put on hold for a good bit of time and then given the phone number to the car transport company (ABC Transport).  This was given to me when I asked for the exact geographical location of my vehicle.  Since my vehicle was close enough to Rhode Island to be delivered on July 20th at 9 pm and the car transport truck hadn't broken down until after 2pm, they should be within a 6 hour radius, I was willing to drive to pickup my vehicle.  When speaking with ABC Transport I was apologized to and I was expecting them to tell me that my car was somewhere in the vicinity of Rhode Island and would be delivered on the evening of July 21st.

I then asked ABC Transport for the exact location of my car.  He told me that it was in CHINO, CALIFORNIA!!!  This is where the lies and manipulation of truth really starts to come to fruition.  The car transport truck also NEVER BROKE DOWN!   ABC Transport told me that my car would be delivered either July 25th or July 26th.

I agreed upon a contract with Hawaii Car Transport (HCT) that would deliver my vehicle by June 29th.  On their website it lists the estimated shipping time from Hawaii to Rhode Island as 17-19 days.  I understand that there are delays and things happen.  By the time my vehicle is delivered (IF IT'S ON TIME!!) it would have taken 43 DAYS!!!

In your contract it states that these (17-19 days) are only estimated times and that HCT is not responsible for costs incurred for needed rental cars.  However, we are at 43 days and HCT is acting in bad faith of their contract.  I am determined to seek litigation for at a minimum, the cost of a rental car for the next 5 days.  My being in the military has nothing to do with this contract but I think I definitely have enough sway in the military to get this company put on the off-limits businesses thus barring military personnel from doing business with them.

The communication is absolutely abysmal with them blaming everyone but themselves and doing nothing to rectify their obvious wrongs.  They just blame anonymous people.  RECORD ALL CONVERSATIONS WITH THEM!  I HAVE MY LAST FEW CONVERSATIONS.

HAWAII CAR TRANSPORT IS A COMPANY FULL OF LIES AND EMPTY PROMISES!  DO NOT USE THEM!  DO NOT USE THEM!  DO NOT USE THEM!
