Hawkesbury Lending Group I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM, on how they were conducting business. Lenders do not get defensive when you ask questions. I immediately backed off and glad I did not go threw with it. Denver, Colorado

I got a call from a Jeff Banks, at Hawkesbury Lending group, telling me I was preapproved for $5000.00, he told me all I had to do was send in the first 5 payments as collateral to begin the process, that was a total of over $700.00, I begin to ask questions which I realize he was getting a little defensive at my questions. I said I never heard of a legitamit company asking for the first 5 payments before receiving the loan. He said it was based on my credit, so I said, how about this..you process the loan and take that figure from the loan and send me the remaining balance, he immediately said no...lol. As I continue to have conversation with him...I begin to really get skeptical. I said this sound real shady to me, he gotrude to me and said I'm not going to put my company on the line this is a credible company either you want to process the loan or not. I immediately said no thank you, a real business would not treat their customers like this when they are trying to sell a product. He told me to get back to him if I was interested. Of course I did not...because I knew it was shady. He was very unprofessional and definitely did not come off as a broker who knew what they were doing, in other words uneducated scam artist.
