Hayden James Hailey Requested that I send them money in order to be able to leave Mexico Carlsbad California

In 2008 Mr. Hailey advised me that he had entered Mexico to buy a few things for friends.  He advised that he bought alcohol.  He advised that he was retained at the border and the police confiscated the alcohol and requested money from him in order to be able to return to the United States.  He had been in custody at the border for a couple of days.  He advised that his friends had made excuses for not sending him the money.

Mr. Hailey advised that he had the money, but could not access it from Mexico.  I agreed to send him the money through Western Union.  He advised not to send it to Mexico, but to send it in his name because the Mexican authorities were taking him across the border in order to pick the money up.  I sent Mr. Hailey $1500 through Western Union at a cost of $99.99 whick he also agreed to pay.  Mr. Hailey received the money and advised that he was released by the Mexican authorities.

When Mr. Hailey did not return the loan, I tried to stay in contact with him.  His telephone number was disconnected.  I then sent correspondence to Mr. Hailey at the Carlsbad address that he had furnished.  I still did not hear from him.  Upon research, it was discovered that Mr. Hailey had left the Carlsbad address (if he had ever lived there).  No further information was found for him at that time.
