I had found Hazel Peppergood's name on the Internet while searching for a "stuffing envelopes" work at home job.  Her advertisement said that she had a report I could order for $67 that would tell me what various companies mail programs consisted of and whether they were worth trying.  I spent the $67 and applied for the booklet.  After a month I had to write again and ask her to send the booklet.  The booklet had no phone number on it so that I could call with questions.

Then, after receiving the booklet and reading all 14 pages of it, it appeared that there was only one company out of approximately 54 mentioned, Worldwide Publications, that she really recommended, and there was a cost of $79 in order to apply to Worldwide Publications to get started.  She also included an application form for Worldwide Publications.  Since her description of their program in her booklet and the description on the Worldwide application was so vague as to what the program entailed, I wrote to both Worldwide Publications and to Hazel Peppergood three different times each, asking for specifics of what 4 sentences meant on the application and got no response from either company.  Somehow, I was expecting that she had tried the program with Worldwide Publications and that she would know the details of it.

The 4 statements were:  1)  We "can" supply everything you need.  I wanted to know what "can" meant.  2)  Receive $50 for every hundred envelopes you address and stuff "according to Directions Plus"...  I wanted to know what "according to Directions Plus" meant;  3) We will set up your account for you, assign you a personal mailed ID number and send you our "start-up instructions".  What did "start-up instructions" mean. and 4) The step-by-step instructions will show you how to get started, how to obtain your materials, - What was missing in the start-up-instructions that I still needed.  I had also stated in my letters that what I was looking for was a program whereby all the stamps, envelopes, mailing labels and flyers were sent to me and all I had to do was stuff the envelopes, address them and mail them, and I wanted verification if that was what this program was.  I told her that I had been scammed once and didn't want to be scammed again.

I got no response from Hazel Peppergood nor Worldwide Publications to any of the three letters I sent both of them, over the couse of two months.  At this point, it was a waste of money to send her $67, as I thought I read there was a money back guarantee, but I missed the part about having to send out 500 mailings; and, I would imagine that she is pocketing $67 with everyone she sends out her booklet to, since she really isn't recommending any other company..  And I would imagine that Worldwide Publications is pocketing their $79 from everyone who sent in their money as they didn't know that they had to pay more money to get the actual supplies, as I just read today in another consumer complaint on your website.  What a scam they have going!
