HB Eye Care Charged a price off the top of her head West Boylston Massachusetts

I went to HB Eye Care for the first time to get a rountine eye exam. The exam itself was awful, she seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. Kept messing up when trying to see how to fit the lenses with my astigmatism. Also they never changed the lines of the letters which all my other eye doctors did.

And then when i finally went to find a pair of glasses, i found a pair i liked. And then when they sat me down to get the correct fitting, i asked what the price was and she told me off the top of her head $400 without searching on her database for the actual price. And i asked her why it was so expensive and she said it was because of the material which is steel and also cause of the brand 'Hugo Boss' and she said she would give me free polycarbonate lenses which is a small step up over the normal lenses.

And i felt presseured to buy them cause they didnt have any other choices and since i got the exam there it would be rude of me to take my prescripton and leave. No computer database full of prices just came up with prices off the top of her head seemed like she was making them up, and used a calculator to figuire out the total price which included transitions and crizal.

Total came up to $695.My last pair of glasses which included those was a Versace frame and transitons was only $600 from lenscrafters which i thought was justifiable cause the brand and add on. When i arrived home i searched the internet incuding Hugo Bosses own website and saw that all of their glasses were between $150-$200.
