HCI DIRECT, INC. PAIN VANISH (Also Called SILKIES And BENNETT MANAGEMENT) PAIN VANISH FREE SAMPLE ... BILL FOR $19.94 Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Sometimes in April 2008 I found in my mailbox a small tube of cream called "Pain Vanish." As I receive a lot of unsolicited "junk mail" ... that free-sample went into the garbage can.

Today June 10, 2008 I received a bill from "Pain Vanish" for $19.94 !!! I automatically went to the "RipOff.com" website to see if others had similar experiences. Several complaints were already posted about this "mail scam."

I research the internet via Google and found out that the name of the company is "HCI Direct Inc, 3050 Tillman Drive, Suite # 101, Bensalem, PA 19020. // Jean Vernor is the CEO and Karen Arbegast is V.P. in charge of Marketing and Customer Service.

I also found out that HCI Direct, Inc (also markets under the name of "Vanish Pain", of "Silkies", and their parent company of "Bennett Management") was sued by the State Attorneys of 14 states and had to pay close to half a million for mail fraud ... billing customers for unsolicitated products.

I dialed the toll free number 1-877-373-3467 and after going through all the multiple litany of their pre-recorded messages, I press "0" and finally spoke with a Ms. Latora, station # 3467. I complained about their bill for $19.94 for a product (Pain Vanish) that I never ordered or wanted. I was told that the account would be closed, that the "past due" amount of $19.94" will be deleted, showing a "0" balance.

I will write to the State Attorney General of Pennsylvannia if this matter did not end today.
