Well, I am in the process of being duped by this company also. Should have come to Ripoffreport.com prior to dealing with this company. I signed up for NetDetective.net through a misleading link saying they offer "criminal background" checks. Logged in and immediately realized that ALL of the info I found was public information, like, from a phone book!!! Just to verify I checked on myself to see what kind of information they had on me. Barely any at all and what they had was more than 6 years old. Not exactly a criminal background check that any stand up citizen would want. So I started the refund process by emailing them and asking to close the account. They replied to my email with an attachment that I needed to fill out and, according to this form "EMAIL" back to them, which I did. Within 15 minutes, I recieved a reply stating that they can not open ANY attachments in their emails. Now, why would any company say EMAIL an attachment then reply to the email saying they can't open it???? Oh yea, because it's a scam... So I am going to mail it certified so that someone has to sign for it and I will update this when I find anything out.
