The small parcel of Caralluma was delivered when I was out so had to be collected from a local postal holding office.  The card through my mail box said there was a Customs Charge to be paid on collection.  At the outset when placing my order prices were in £ sterling & there was no obvious indication that this product would be sent from the USA.  I have ordered American products before where they had obviously been imported into the UK and tax added to the price.

The tax was the equivalent of about $26 coupled with the poor exchange rate made this item rather expensive.  However, at this stage the cost had already been debited to my bank account (foolish, should have paid by credit card!) so my dilemma was did I pay the tax and get the item or lose the cost price but save paying the tax.  I decided to pay the tax and at least have the item.

When I tried to contact the company to cancel any future orders there is no sign of them & the only evidence on my bank statement is "clickbank".  Stupid, stupid British woman!
