Hearing Aid Companys Bait and Switch, Dishonest, Inconsistent, Expensive Sarasota, Bradenton, Ellenton, Port Richey, Sun City Florida

I'm a senior citizen in need of hearing aids. There are weekly ads for aids with different programs for money off or trade-in or financing. But never have I found any to be completely honest with their dealings with my many friends and relatives who have gone to several big names companys in Sarasota county, Manatee county, Paso county, and found their ads to be bait and switch. So its up to each person to be an educated consumer and research.

In all fairness, it's all business and rightly so, but STOP taking advantage of people whether you think they have money or not.

One company's profit margin may be 400% while another 300%. But what's just as important is being able to feel that the person who sold you the aids will be there in six months or one year from now, this includes the company as well. When you see a rapid switch of staff in less than one year, watch out. When you see prices in one company is higher than their competitors, watch out. Known company names, like Starkey, Siemens, Belltone, HearX, etc. doesn't necesssarily mean stability, sincerity or better prices.

No wonder the industry has a bad reputation.
