Heartland Home Finance mortgage rip off gfe lending Cenntennial Colorado

Hi Everyone.

I am a former employee at the Heartland Home Finance. I worked there for almost a whole year. I just want everyone to know what the company is really about.

First, everyone that works in that branch has little, if any experience originating loans. I was one of those persons. The office of 5 loan originators besides the boss had a combined origination experience of only 5 months (that's total). To say the least, we had no idea what we were talking about on the phone and were trained to mislead our customers.

The other problem at this locating is the boss, Josh Mayer. He would encourage people to just get social security numbers and run credit even if they asked you not to run it. If was all about getting numbers and bait and switching people. "Get the deal in" he would say, we will sell the real deal after they paid for the apprasial. We will find a way to change it" He would tell us to send out GFE that reflected lower interest rates than we knew we could offer.

Every time someone in the office was about to have a closing, he would ask them to raise their fees.
One loan officer raised his fees from 6,500 dollars to almost 16,000 about 12 hours before closing. Josh (the boss) even had a meeting on that one day to encourage us to pray that the customer wouldn't notice the fee change. I really feel bad for customers who use Heartland. They have a horrible staff who encourages lien.
This was normal for the employees. We didnt know anything but what we learned from Josh.

Josh, I know you will be reading this. You ripped thousands of dollars from people just in the year I was with you. You did it because you are greedy. You trained people to think that was the way the mortgage business was run. Its Not. You are a thief, a lier, and you definitely should not be able to sleep at night. Think about how bad you would feel if someone did this to your family. I hope you change your ways. Money is not whats important in life.
