10/12/14, I purchased a Heartpup Carrier and paid for it thru PayPal. Never received, on 10/21/14 I called & spoke with owner Anastasia, she agreed to mail me the summer cashmere fabric in light gray for $99.99 that I had paid. Once received I found it to be way to way to small. Sounding so sweet on the phone with her again 10/27/14, and sending pics to her, she advised me to purchase another carrier in leather for $298.00. She would custom size it bigger for me. Anastasia said she was going to sit down and sew my carrier that night and mail it out overnight the next morning. I agreed only because of her promise to get it to me asap, due to me having surgery.

 

My additional payment was made while I was on the phone with her. She advised me to wait until I received the newer leather carrier before retuning the summer carrier for a new custom summer carrier in the correct size. Waiting for leather carrier, I left her messages on 12/2 & 12/4/14. Finially recieving the leather carrier, what was to be 2 days ended up being 6 weeks. I feel there is no way this plastic /rubber feeling type material is $298.00 of expensive leather as she had told me it was. I overlooked that issue and the fact that this carrier is way to big. I've just been focused on the fact that she is keeping my money and she's not mailing me my merchandise. We spoke again and I sent her pics 12/7/14 while talking about size, I returned the small summer carrier via USPS Tracking #9405 9036 9930 0321 0133 80 which was delivered to her on 12/22/14. 

 

I followed up with a phone call on 1/2/15 and left a message because I never heard from her. Again leaving messages on 1/6/15, 1/27/15, 2/26/15 and 3/23/2015 MY SUMMER CARRIER WAS NEVER RECEIVED!

 

Her business messages keep changing. At first she said, no email to only make contact by phone. Now it says no phone calls only make contact by email. 

 

On 4/19/15 I sent an email thru her website. I also tried to contact her on her website where it says "Leave Us A Message" 2 times! NOTHING still! She doen't return any calls anymore. Her machine says to wait 8 weeks for exchanges, it's been 4 months!

Can you hear my frustration? This is going on 6 months now, today being 5/17/15 $397.00 later. She went to school to become a lawyer and instead because a RIPOFF SCAM BAIT AND SWITCH business with no conscious. 

 

I can’t understand how anyone can run a business this way and thought everyone needs to be aware of her tactics.

My Experience with HeartPup dog carrier/scarf slings

My experiences with HeartPup:
Recently I ordered a scarf sling dog carrier from HeartPup.
Here is what happened:
I gave them 'specific' measurements for a 'customized' scarf sling, which they offered.


Then I noticed the shipping label had been created by not shipped yet, so I emailed them and here is what I found out:

They ARE BACK ON TRACK NOW. They did have a problem with a factory that ripped THEM off and so it put quite a strain on their orders that then went into back-order status

HeartPup has found a NEW factory that is fantastic. I have a carrier/sling they made that is really sewn excellently. They are now back on track. Only 'special' orders (custom specific sizing orders) which are handmade by HeartPup naturally takes a little longer, which is understandable.


So two things happened to HeartPup in the past year:
1. Since they aired on national television twice, they got swamped with orders that had to be handmade, thousands of orders!

2. When they finally found a factory to help them with the sewing, that factory ripped THEM off causing them to have to work furiously night and day to fill all of the orders that the factory had caused to become backed up.

As I said, they are totally back on track right now for regular orders and are working hard to make everything right for everyone.

They are NOT tying to rip anyone off - they didn't rip me off and they could have. What I found out is that what happened to them is not their fault and they are working hard to make things right.

I am just a regular person, not their friend, nor their relative, and I have to say that I just received two sling/carriers from HeartPup and my dog is NUTS about these. I carry him around all morning while I do my chores and when I try to take him out of the sling/carrier, he whines to get back in LOL
I can't even 'touch' the slings that are on the chair, because if he sees me, he comes running and begging to get inside! haha


My dog, Kenny absolutely loves these carrier/slings. I have tried them ALL and believe me when I tell you that these are the absolute BEST out there. Yes, some people think they are pricey, BUT, for me anyway, they are worth 'every' penny I paid! And the time that I waited for a 'special sizing' order was also worth every minute that I waited...my dog is happy!
