Hejia Laundromat Inc ,The Laundromat on the SE corner of 112th St & 3rd Ave, Drop Off Purposefully and Sneakily Overcharged After Warning New York New York

    Around 5:30PM on 08 May 2014, I brought in a bag of laundry for drop-off service. The short, older, female Hispanic employee weighed the bag on their scale, clearly saying 27.1 pounds. She charged me the cost of dropping off 28 pounds of laundry. The laundry bag had not yet been moved, so she reaffirmed that the scale says 28 pounds. I pointed at the needle and said that it was clearly 27. She "fluffed" up the bag and the needle dropped even lower to 26.8 pounds! She conceded and went to write up the receipt.

     The employee multiplied some numbers and wrote down a final amount equivalent to being charged 28 pounds anyway. I told her that this was the price for 28 pounds. She insisted that it was the price for 27 pounds. I reconfirmed with my phone's calculator that it was above the price for 27 pounds and equal to the price for 28 pounds. I took my bag and left the premises.
