Hellocom SCAMMERS - Will target little old women who understand very little English Monterey Park California

My mom was at the Philippine Expo in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Hellocom scammed my mom into having her sign a Letter of authorization to change my long distance carrier to them. The salesman asked her a bunch of questions, filled out the form himself and had her sign the form. He asked for her phone number. So she gave her mine and she mentioned that the phone number was mine and not hers. He said that it was okay. He then asked her my name so that he could put it on the application. She thought she was signing for the calling card which some vendors at the event were giving away. She never got the calling card. Instead, we get a long distance bill a few weeks later.

Even after reviewing that they did not have the proper authorization to change the long distance carrier to them, they would not admit they were wrong.

Make sure to stay away from them when you see them at a Convention Booth. And make sure your elderly stay away from them. They will target them.
