We moved from Florida to North Carolina to a used home. Upon our arrival we called a flooring company to give us an estimate at home for Hardwood flooring on three bedrooms and the company was Hennessy Flooring in NC. The owner came out to give estimate that was given to me via text and phone. He invited my husband and myself to his show room that he was there with his secertary Sheila. she was at her office all the time. When Mr. Hennessy showed us two sample of REAL word floor not laminate or engineered. We left the store he call constaantly my cellphone or my home number in a hurry to get the floors done as he was leaving to Coast Rica. My husband nd I told him verbally okay to install the wood he showed us. When the installer came he started doing his job and I didnt notice that the floor was not the one we ordered from the samples shown by Mr. Hennessy until the last floor left as I noticed it was too thin. I immediately call Mr. Hennessy but of course never took my call as he was on vacation. i spoke to David the installer with my concerns and he stated that when he came back he would take care of it. After that I texted and texted Mr. Hennessy and I have all textes saved from his phone stating the most outragious things as to the floor cant be polished or sanded. and according to him this is a floor that is a great durable hardwood floor and less than a month is all scratched.
After a month of all the back and fourth he sends me a letter how to care for my floor I've had wood floors all my life. All this while I have not signed or seen a contract or a work done order. Yet he supplied one to GE Capital the financing company. The floor was instaled in January 9, 2014 and he has just put a lien pn my house on 4-14-14 without any warning court or anything. He even stated on one of his textes he couldnt do anything about the floor and it would be a free floor do not worry about it in Febuary. This man is a liar and does not conduct himself with any kind of professionism. He feeds off taking people for a ride and taking their hard earn money. Stay away do not do business with this man or his company........

Ms Navarro,
It has come to my attention that you are using RIPOFF REPORT.COM as a venting ground for your frustrations with a floor that you refused to let my company repair for you You are wrong in your accusations, and furthermore your house has a lien against it because you are not paying the financing of the floor we installed.

You are the one wrong in this whole situation and you need to stop condemning Hennessy Floor company for installing a floor you chose because of it's affordabbility rather than it's durability. We had offered to pull up the part of the floor that you scratched and replace it with a new piece, but you also refused that offer.
What is it that you want Ms Navarro? Either pay for what you bought and let us fix the floor that you scratched, or leave us alone.

This man and his company are crocks. I did not order a cheap floor that last a day with out a scratch that can nbot be fixed.
I guess here in this town no one has called out his BS as he want to be intimidated. Mr. Hennessy I Lila Navarro I AM not scraced of you... Man up and fix the problem as its your problem and only yours. Please keep in mind that I have the sample you gave me. Why are you hiding of your responsability as you stated the floor was Mohawk floor and all os a sudden is Shaw Floor where is the guarntee for the product... lies lies lies

They have no idea where they installed the floor. Im disabled and can't move furniture. A professional moving company was hired for that purpose. In addition, I have the floor sample... This man is a joke by bring up massive text messages as Happy Valentines Day in which all my contacts recieved. He was not in any distress as he answered.. Sad... The truth is he has no leg to stand on... I'm very sorry for his way this company. I should have known this as no paperwork was done. Also, the pushing on the urgency as he was leaving on vacation to Coast Rica so he said...
This is unacceptable...

I do not have wood floor in my kitchen as its another floor.
MR. Hennessy get your story straight as they are big holes in your story including where was the floor installed!!!
I'm disabled and highly doubt I moved any furniture. I never stated that the straches to the floor were okay! Why would I have requested through text with Mr. Hennessey to sand,polish and stain it and he has stated that the installed floor cant not be sanded nor polished. I do not clean as per my condition but thats okay let him state what he wants. As he stated no paperwork nor signature was obtained..
As per the Happy Valentine Day text message from me its a general message sent to all contact with messaging capability. This is irrelevant to this issue...I guess that is what he understands on a satisfied customer.

As per the previous comment, it is funny as no one has contacted me from Hennessy Floor nor the manufacturer "Shaw Floors".As far as anyone knows furniture is suppose to go on the floor not the other way around. Trying to teach and educate a me on hardwood floor, I have had wood floors my entire life no issues because it was quality not what Hennessey Floor is selling....... It was a Mohawk floor that was installed now its a Shaw floor. I think Mr. robert Hennessy needs to get his ducks in a row and stop hiding behind his attorney Mullinax Law Firm. How can anyone agree to fix a floor that has been installed a few days this is insane? He now has his last choice he can either fix it as requested !!!!! Or as he stated on Mr. Robert Hennessey's text its free.. In which I have saved!!! This man can not keep his words and has not honor.. What a company and owner!!! He sends fake contracts to the credit card company! I never fill out an application of credit nor a contract. Where is the warranty clause? I havent seen it... Oh well, I guess I need to do what I need to do and hopefully he can fix this situtation asap. As we are both losers in this case he has a problem with GE Money and I have a cheap switched up floor and damanged. I believe in Karma and I really hope Mr. Hennessey continues to take his customers for what they are worth as it will catch up with him soon.
Im still awaiting for the warranty and my floor to be fixed...
