Beawol Global Resources of 14-22 Coleman Fields, London N1 7AD, United Kingdom applied for a Letter of Credit through a broker in India. Beawol's application was forwarded to HENRY COOPER ASSOCIATES INC. A commercial invoice was raised by ESTRADA INTERNATIONAL to pay 0.5% of the pro forma invoice value (US$12,062) as bank charges, and this is to be paid into the following account:
NAME OF BANK: Standard Chartered Bank New York, Date of Remittance 10 April 2006
I was advised that Letter of Credit will be issued within 3-5 working days after receipt of bank charges but up till now no LC has been issued, Every effort to contact them by telephone and e-mail have been in vain.
I contacted Standard Chartered Bank New York, they confirmed the remittance.
