He said I'd like to do some other X-rays I think something else is going on also! So we did! X-rays also showed he had a ruptured acl in right knee! Vet said that he would like to get that taken care of first so he is strong enough for hip surgery! On 4/18/16 had Tibial Tuberosity surgery! Surgery went well! A little over a month recovery time for that! Also physical therapy at home! Took him back to the vet for check up . He said something still isn't right he is still favoring that side. He could barely get up to go outside to the bathroom! Asked if he can do some more X-rays. I said sure! Took X-rays of leg that the surgery was done on and some of his back! Called us into the room and told us he had a pinched nerve in his back. Our poor dog was still in pain!!! Dr. recommended back surgery to relieve the pinched nerve! He said this also was hereditary! It took me two days to get in touch with our breeder! Told him my vet said everything this dog is going through is hereditary! Breeder said this could not be hereditary that he didn't have any other problems with his other dogs! Then he said I would need proof of medical bills and maybe if anything we can give you back have the money you paid for him! I said that's not my concern! I don't want you's to keep breeeding dogs like this! How can they live with themselves!! Go Christiana Pennsylvania

*We really just wanted to get our dog better so he can start enjoying his life and have a happy, healthy life! Scheduled his back surgery got that done 5/26/16. Surgery went well!! A little over a month or so recovery for that! Took him back for his check up and dr said he needs to build up the muscle around his hip because he had muscle atrophy. If he didn't build that muscle up and got the hip surgery it would pop right out! He has to have the muscle to keep the new hip in place! I asked how long will that take? He said probably 6 months to a year! This dog had been suffering for too long!! So I faithfully walked him over a mile every day!! Built his muscle up! *

When we went to pick up our puppy we drove up to a house. Welcomed in the home by an amish family. Chose our puppy. Just got a hand written receipt for his purchase price. Vet papers with his 1st visit. Only one hereditary thing wrong with him stated! He had only one t******e and could not be breed! We weren't worried about that because we weren't planning on breeding him anyway! Got him home I took a look in his ears and they were filthy!! I cleaned them out immediately! Brown junk all inside his ears! Then one day in feb 2015 he started limping around. Couldn't even put his hind left leg on the ground! Took him to the vet sent him home with an anti inflammatory! Was on that for a couple weeks. Didn't help! Then told we should take him to an animal hospital and they could do X-rays there too! So that's what we did! They did X-rays and diagnosed him with hip dysplasia! He was only a yr and 2 months. This seemed very unusual to us. The vet we took him to said he needed a total hip replacement! Scheduled the surgery and the vet called me and said he no longer does that surgery. Contacted another vet who did the surgery! Took him for his initial evaluation and the vet said I'd like to get some recent X-rays of his hip!

I thought after this surgery he will have at least the next 8 years with us. Took him to get his surgery. Dr. called us into the room to go over surgery and X-rays.

Then more bad news! He had hip dysplasia in his right hip also!! Dr. Said no where near as bad as the other. He said he would be able to live with it and not have a problem until he gets older. I've never heard of a dog having so many problems at such a young age!! He was such a great dog!! Considering all that he went through he loved his family very much!! Would do anything to protect us! Our vet was an hr away. He said it takes a couple hours for the surgery. So we decided to go home. We had a daughter we had to get off the school bus. Called to see how he was doing. Surgery was going well! So we were just waiting patiently for our phone call. Dr calls! Worst news ever!! He told me they were just about to staple him up and he went into cardiac arrest!!! Omg! I was in complete shock! Our family was sitting here together! I didn't know what to say! I asked if I can please go in the other room. I didn't want our daughter to hear this. Get into the other room and he told me that our dog had passed away!! He said I'm so sorry! We tried several ways to bring him back. CPR, cardiac massage a medicine the inject directly into the heart! Nothing worked! They couldn't save him! We cried and cried!!! Still cannot believe he is gone! We tried so hard and spent thousands of dollars to give our dog we loved soo soo much a great life! This breeder took a part of our family away from us! Our dogs are also our kids!!!! I finally felt that I was ready to tell you our story! Please!

My advice to everyone! DO NOT buy from LANCASTER PUPPIES! HENRY HERSHBERGER an Amish guy that we purchased our puppy from . He pays someone to list his puppies online for Lancaster puppies! You will not get an healthy puppy! Our dog died a couple days short of his second birthday!!! We can never get him back and he is missed very much!! He didn't have a good chance at life because of a selfish, Greedy!! breeder!!! I will not be happy until I know that he can no longer breed unhealthy dogs. My main reason for writing this is so no other family's would ever have to go through the same thing we did! I'm trying to save everyone from a broken heart!!!
