Heritage Administrative Services, Inc. Bought Heritage Extended Warranty 4 yrs. when purchased used Fifth Wheel at local dealership!!! Lincoln, Nebraska

Today we had a RV service man come to our door to tell us that when he did service on our refrigerator on Feb. 28, 2008, Heritage will not pay for the call or parts! We had a $50.00 deductible which we gladly paid on that day. The service man made a call that day to Heritage for an authorization no. to do the service with us paying a $50.00 deductible. He spoke to ext. 4104 (Grant) and was given the Authorization No. B08-61366-268 for an amount of $317.50 (-) our deductible which was paid that day, leaving an outstanding balance for him of $267.70. Everything seemed to be okay, he did the service on our refrigerator and left.

Today (July 10, 2008) he knocked on our door and told us the whole story of how many phone calls he has had to make trying to get paid for the work he did at our RV and was given to the following people: Paul who claimed to be a Payment Supervisor. Otis who claimed to be in the Claims Dept. (National Administrative Services, Inc. is the name he was given at that point). Dave Johnson at Heritage (supposedly) at 614-726-3150. Then to 812-498-1160(Cell) or 402-489-7777 (Fax). Then to Kevin Harper in Claims Dept. again at 614-358-3700 (fax) or 877-358-1500 (ext. 105); then to Amy Blackburn at 614-726-3150 (ext. 3336) which was supposedly Dimensions Services Co.(?) and Renee also at the ext.3336 phone no. who sent him to Rose in Customer Service.

When we bought our fifth wheel used we purchased a Heritage Administrative Services, Inc. extended warranty at the cost of $1,150.00 out of our pocket because we were told it was the best warranty around and would cover all the major appliances which have a tendency to go out at approx. 10 yrs. age. We thought it was a really good insurance for us due to those reasons. So, with our first major problem, we paid the $50.00 deductible and Kevin Adams (the RV service man for our dealer where we purchased) came to our RV, replaced a computer board in the unit and everything was up and running again like new.

Imagine our shock today (7/10/08) when Kevin (the service man) came to our door and told us about the run-around he has gotten through Heritage (or is it National Administrative Services or is it Dimensions Services....). To his and our dismay, there was a $267.00 balance due him from Heritage because he did what he was supposed to and got an authorization no. to move this claim along and it has been not only DROPPED but in an unending PIT of whoever bought Heritage - if they have actually been sold.)

I also am questioning whether this is just a run-around or whether they still exist under the name given on our warranty contract. The other matter left out in the cold is we paid for a (4) year extended warranty at the cost of $1,150.00 when we purchased our RV. The dealer collected $1,150.00 to go straight to the company and we have only owned the RV for 2 years and the company is supposedly out of business, bought out by someone else. So, not only are we going to get to the bottom of the service call matter, but we will find who and where to collect 1/2 the premium not even used yet = $575.00 !!!!! We will find out who to get that from if it kills us.....but I bet I can last longer than this run-around company....

ANYONE WHO HAS A BEEF WITH HERITAGE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES, INC. IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA, PLEASE REPORT THEM TODAY TOO!!!! The more people that report them the bigger the problems for them to address and the more likely any of us will find our money in the bottomless pit of their company......
