Heritage Manor - Heritage Enterprises Do Not Sign Anything Without A Lawyer Present Bloomington & Elgin Illinois

Heritage Manor - Heritage Enterprises tries to get someone.....anyone to sign in a patient or resident. This is a ploy to extract more money out of someone. Heritage Enterprises knows that usually an elderly resident does not have much money so they will try very dilligently to get someone.....anyone to sign a statement of financial responsibility. They have taken me to court, lied to me, advised me incorrectly, and totally misled me into signing these papers. Do not do it!!! I suppose that this is a very common thing for nursing homes to do. Be very careful. This is a crooked, corrupt tactic. To almost threaten you with not being able to care for a loved one unless you sign these papers is cruel. Heritage Manor/Enterprises is at the top of the list for this. The facility I am specifically talking about is in Elgin, IL., and the main offices are located in Bloomington, IL. Their Lawyer, a Mr. Jeff Brown who, IMHO, was very rude to us, even lied to us, in a meeting in Elgin, IL., is a man, again in my honest opinion, to steer clear of. This is an ongoing legal matter that I would not wish on my worst enemy. Again, in my honest opinion, and I feel I still have the right to state "in my honest opinion". .....My own opinion. The U.S. still is a place where I can state my own opinion.
