I purchased my HEYS luggage in April of 2012. After two trips, the shell of my large suitcase split wide open. Since HEYS backs their products with a Lifetime Warranty - I thought I would get my suitcase repaired or replaced easily. Initially, Heys was responsive, they e-mailed their claim form to me and returned my call. After I submitted my form I couldn't get anyone on the phone or an email response. After 30 days I filed a BBB complaint and HEYS didn't respond to BBB either.
I am without my luggage and have little faith in this company. HEYS has the worst customer service I have ever encountered - ever!

A lifetime warrenty normal ONLY covers QUALITY of contruction. They may have found that the damages were NOT covered. If either YOU over stuffed or the baggage handlers were tossing your case around, then that falls beyond the scope of the lifetime warrenty. See no warrenty covers ACCIDENTAL DAMAGES unless there is a deductable. As for the BBB, why would you bother with them? They are just like this website. A place for ppl to go who THINK they were wronged to whine and complain. The BBB is the largest joke out there. They have no "teeth". And you can PAY to have a A+ rateing. So you pretty much wasted your time there. Your better option would be to contact their corporate offices and ask to speak to a "Customer Support" person. Then you may get some help. If your just emailing them and crossing your fingers then your just going to keep waiting.
