After an accident, AAA insurance referred me to Hi Tech Collision and Glass Centers. After 2 weeks I got my car back. Not until I got home did I realize that my right headlight had a ton of water inside of it, there was blue paint smeared on my white driver side door, there were new scratches that were not present prior to them working on it, and my stereo sounds like crap now. Almost as if they blew my speakers,or maybe even replaced my quality speakers with crap.
Also, my hood used to be lightweight and would stay up when raised. Now its heavy as hell and wont stay up. They used substandard used parts, and when I brought all this to their attention, they told me they would fix the headlight, and nothing else.
There is no way I am going to take it back to them after the awful work they did and the attitude they gave me. They also replaced a lot of stuff that did not need fixing. My headlights were not even damaged, yet they replaced them with used parts. In my opinion, they are scheisters and thieves. Do not EVER take your car to Hi Tech. They will turn it into a piece of crap.

it has come to my attention that while the shop did do terrible work, i cannot say,for legal intents and purposes, that they are stealing parts. i will post another update pending a full independent investigation.

After a minor accident in which only the bumper and parking lights were damaged I was referred by my ins. company to Hi Tech Collision and Glass Center. Upon return of my vehicle I was extremely dismayed to find that not only was my car returned in poor shape with heavy condensation inside the headlight, dark blue paint on my white door, new scratches, and my stereo speakers sounded as if they had been replaced with cheap, bad sounding speakers, but many of my oem parts had been replaced with much cheaper generic parts.
And these were partsthat were not even damaged in the accident. My oem hood which cost near to $1000, was replaced with a cheap steel hood that I suspect was obtained from a junkyard. The hood was not even damaged in the accident.
They also replaced my oem headlights with cheap aftermarket headlights. It's as if they are stripping all valuable parts and replacing them with garbage parts.
Do NOT EVER take your car to Hi Tech. They will rip you off and return your car in worse shape.
