I was disappointed (and hurt) by what happened when I purchased Hidden Leverage as a founding member of Michael Somerville's new online Biz Opp and affiliate program called Hidden Leverage. I am also extremely surprised by Paypal's Iron Clad legal defense with their new Seller Protection program. I am an online entrepreneur, and have sold millions of dollars worth of software, and I would never treat a customer or long term fan in this way - even if I could get away with it - regardless of Paypal's new unbelievably buyer-unfriendly coverage and/or guarantees.
Michael Somerville has been an online marketing instructor for many years, and I have supported him with the purchase of many products since 2010. Some of the were ok.
Here is what occurred, and why I am so disappointed and my mind is so completely blown.
1. Paid $2,100.00 for the HiddenLeverage.com membres area during the first part of December, 2015
2. The software and training area was not done. Yes it was the holiday.
3. Waited till first 3 weeks of January - 2016 - it was still taking a while for Michael to finish the program - yes it was the holiday. He has a bunch of money tied up in development for the application, which I can really appreciate as a software developer.
4. I was a little concerned to find that inside the opportunity that I had paid for there was paid traffic for sale that costs literally tens of thousands of dollars. Not really abnormal for affiliate marketing schemes, but none-the-less, we were also promised free traffic and even sales, so I took it with a grain of salt, and just another dimension of the program.
5. The cut and paste "free traffic" methods still had not come when I started thinking about requesting a refund - or at least temporarily.
6. I had some health issues late January that made it very difficult to wait around for the promised launch webinar and completed training area and several other items. I created an intimate (very personal from one professional to another) thinking he would help me out for a couple of reasons. Reason 1: I have thousands of students around the world and my opinion might matter (LOL). I know pompous. Whoops. Reason 2: I sent him a video of 1 of several health consultants I contacted and my medical situation I was dealing with, and here is what I got:
My First Plea to Michael Sommerville:
Letter Response 1: from Michael Somerville
Michael has not always been like this, and I don't know why he would think this is ethical.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
You've got to be kidding me!
AUTHOR: M. Somerville - (Canada)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, April 06, 2016
Hello,
Clearly, Russell has some deep down agression towards people that actually have success in life. He's taken a lot of time from himself to post this on here and really only helped me show how I wanted to help him.
Russell agreed at time of purchase, on the phone and with a signed agreement - that he understood what he was purchasing. It's not a "get rich quick" or "mlm" program, we build a complete business out for people to use. There is a no time anything horrible about this prouduct and we have thousands of members who don't share the same issues as russell.
As anyone can read from the post, I tried to help Russell, but he didn't want help - he wanted to calm his stomach issues wouldn't allow him to do anything. Yet, he also claims he does internet marketing for a living.
Bottom-line, he proven within his posts that I was a normal person, but wasn't going to allow someone to take advantage from my company.
Final note, my legal team has been given this information and will be filing action towards this site within 48 hours if the post isn't taken down. Russell also broke the Terms of Service by posting this and he will be served also.
Thank you,
Michael Somerville
