In order to move my items from Omaha to Atlanta I had contracted with the broker’s moving company “US national movers” on 05/10/18. That days I already was in Atlanta. After estimate that was made on- line we agreed upon sum of contract, 1894.93$ and the moving date, 05/12/18. I paid 844.61$ which the broker required according the contract. On the moving date, 05/12/18, the representative of the broker came to a storage place in Omaha  and claimed that I have more items that didn't come to account and I need to do a new estimate and  pay more money. I agreed and according to revised estimate paid additional 165$. The new total sum of new contract was 2225.79$. However, on the moving date our items wasn't picked up and left in Omaha. They were loaded and picked up on 05/17/18.

The same day, after pickup I had a phone call from representative of  “High Quality moving services” company (further “the mover”) which the broker handed over a mandate to move my belongings. Representative of the mover  started to demand additional payment, contrary to the contract and Federal regulation requirements. The contract defines clearly "if you have not signed the mover's revised estimate and the mover loads the truck, then federal regulation requires that the mover has reaffirmed the original estimate and cannot demand additional payment at delivery for the additional items".  When I urged the representative to check the contract’s provisions he agreed to check out the issue and give me me call back after checking out. AccorThen, 05/23/18, I had a letter from the broker that my items on their way.

Regrettably, it wasn't the truth and, as I found out it later, the mover placed my items in Olathe, KS. Only on 06/01/18 the mover let me know that he didn't move my items to Atlanta and returned to demand extra money. Under these circumstances I required picking up and moving my items by myself and the mover agreed. The representative of the mover stated that my items are held in a storage place in Olathe, KS. I especially flew on  06/06/2018 to Kansas City to pick up my goods. After several phone calls I received the letter from the mover allowing me to have the pick up on Friday, 06/08/2018. Regrettably, in the day of the agreed pick up the representative of the mover Mr Sean refused me to fulfill pick up for reasons unknown. I had spent money for flight tickets, moving help services and the mover just deceived me. Right now, two months after contracting, I don’t have any information about what’s going on with my household items. It comes out that the mover did unathorized use of my household belonongs and holds them "hostage" without any legal reasons.
