Warning very disappointed. never thought this would happen to me! i got a letter in the mail from infosys systems ontario. it also came with a check from highlight metals. this also came with a claim number: 71508/8/5/H. i did not see anything on the internet at the time and i had found this infosys systems site. so i thought okay this has to be legit. well i called this BRYAN @ 1-416-887-3946 and he told me to either cash it or deposit itand call him for further instructions. so i had to deposit it because of the hold for 6 days (out of state check). i did so, waited the 6 days and it cleared! today. 8/05/2008 so as i thought if the check cleared then it must be okay and so i called bryan back so he could give me an address so i could money gram the tax purpose money. it is a good thing i didnt and i still have the half. BUT i am still in the hole 600 us dollars for using it towards my bills!

im 19 and have very little experience with fraud business and when it is okay to use the money. i really was having financial problems, so i took the money out for the taxes and 600 for my bills. WELL!! about 6 pm Hawaii standard time, i tried to use my bank card for pizza and it declined. so i knew by then there was something wrong. i went searching for hours on the internet for answering to this company and this sweepstakes i had supposedly won. finally i just typed in this so called guy, BRYAN at 1-416-887-3946 and this came up about another company doing the same thing with a Bill Morris and same number from ontario Canada. PLEASE IM BEGGING FOR SOME HELP BECAUSE THIS FAKE SWEEPSTAKES GOT MY HOPES UP AND NOW THEY HAVE ME IN THE HOLE. i do have all my receipts and the letter still so please HELP!!.

i cant afford this and i need legal help please email me. and please if it could be possible to be pro bono, as i have no money extra.... im here to warn any one else especially those who cant afford to loose out on money.

Out of Luck

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

No lawyer is going to help you. You fell for one of the more common internet scams out there and if you didn't find anything like it the first time, you did not look hard enough. Every day I read a scam like this just on ROR.

Nobody just hands you money without working for it in some fashion, or comes with strings attached. Chalk this one up to experience - an expensive lesson.

Too bad

You should have checked it out BEFORE you cashed that phony check. By the way, just WHEN did you enter that sweepstakes ??? And WHY would they just send you money in the mail. Sweepstakes checks are HAND DELIVERED after MUCH contact by the organization and MUCH publicity. NO ONE sends you checks in the mail. Do you not know this ??? There is NO HELP for you. Your money is in the hands of the scammers in a foreign country where they cannot be touched. WISE UP, girlie. You're on their list now.
