I found the Hill-Top Husky website online, were it features multiple “available pupies”. I then filled out the Information request form located on the website and was emailed shortly after by a person going by the name of “Frank Danson”. I continued in my correspondance with him as he pretended to be a breeder, he requested “background information” about myself before he would be comfor selling me a puppy. It seemd a bit suspicious to me though as the website had many simple English errors and when he emailed me the writing was very broken and, again had many simple English mistakes, but I try not to judge and be optimistic.

I gladly obliged to “Mr. Danson”’s request, telling him all about our home life and how prepared we were for the new puppy and he responded in a way much expected of a “breeder”. He even drew up a ”contract”, which again, had many simple English errrors and only after going back over it later did I notice even further errors. But, out of sheer excitement and expectation I rushed to sign the bogus contract for the dog which I would find out later, does not exist...

After signing my phoney contract, completely oblivious to the scam I was falling for, Mr. Danson agreed to ”continue with my paperwork to have the puppy shipped to my home”... I only needed to wire him $500 to continue the paperwork.. Oh, and becuase his “paypal account was having issues”, and he didn’t accept checks, I had to send a Walmart to Walmart transfer to hm for the purchase of my puppy... Which I will admit did raise a lot of red flags, but I was compforted by the fact that I had a “contract”... (after realizing I was likely being scammed I hoped to review the contract to be able to use it to get my money back, and only then did I realize that at the top the contract was written for “Hill-Top Huskys” and then signed by “Hilly-Top Huskys”.. simple mistake that I wish I would have caught in the beginning..

After wiring him the money, I waited for the rest of the paperwork to be completed... I was contacted by a “Pet Transfer Service”, which is also another fake company by the way, which emailed to me my puppies ”itinerary” and even gave me a “tracking number”, (ALSO FAKE, GOES TO A DUMMY WEBSITE!). This company refers to itself as ISPD or ”Inter-States-Pets-Currier-Delivery Service.. and that’s word for word their name according to the email they sent me, Courier spelled wrong and all....  I scrolled down to the bottom of the email from the fake pet transportation company where the proceed to inform me that I must purchase a $680 ”Auto Electronic air ventillated crate” in order to proceed with the shipment of my puppy... Oh, and because thier website is also under construction, they require a Walmart to Walmart transfer too.. How nice... Oh and I better hurry and send them that money or my puppy wont make his flight on time and will have to be quarantined! OH NO!..

It was at this time that I obviously realized that I had been scammed.. I lost the money, but more importantly, I was really hurt as I had trusted this Mr. Danson that he was a breeder and that the pictures of the puppy that he sent to me was all real.. It was not, and long story short, I have never received a puppy, there are no puppies..

I dug further into that website after the scam and realized that if you click on the privacy page, the website calls itself Hilly Top Bulldogs and Hilly Top Poodles, all within the same ”privacy statement”.. Its apparent that this website becomes exploited and the con-artists just changes the name a bit and starts over with a new breed of dogs to target innocent people searching for quality puppies.. I believe he uses actual pictures of other breeders’ puppies and posts them as his own.

Anyways, I just want to make sure that no one else goes through what we went through. It was heartbreaking, and we are now out $500 right before the holidays.. so please, be sure not to fall into the Scam of ”Hill-Top” anything!
