HIMCO SECURITY PRODUCTS - Jeffrey Marks inherited HImco Security Products aka Himco National from his father around 1985. Unfortunately, Marks lacks the integrity, humility and passion for customer service that his father took with him to his grave. ripoff Los Angeles California

I have a very similar experience. Himco Security gave me a quote and design for a security fence, metal work only.

They sent out installers who worked a half day and left without finishing the job. It took me over a week to get them back to weld the pieces of metal together, and had to delay my general contractor who was installing the wood. At every juncture the installation and workmanship has been a nightmare. They installers come with no supervisor. They installed metal backwards, un-welded and wobbly? It is a total disaster. The entry phone system took 4 different installers to install and it still does not work properly.
Every delay cost me money, they lie and they are simply con-artists.

I have a security fence with a door that doesn't close and they have now managed to damage the very expensive redwood that I had installed to perfection.

I asked them to discount the job, based on the workmanship and considerable delay to the job,
they have since, instead of coming back with a reasonable offer, threatened to put a lien on my house. Typical Himco.

I would never recommend this company. I have never had such an awful experience, or poorly executed job done on any of my worksites.

I finally read the rebuttal from Jeffrey Marks who is 5' 2" if he stands on
his toes. He is a short, angry man who has been divorced three times before the age of 50. His litigation history is public record. He said my neighbors probably let my dog out. He has the least integrity of anyone I have ever dealt with.

His installers pulled my dead dog out of their
hole they left open. She was not hit by a car. Marks will get it back ten fold if he continues to sue people out of malice and hatred. He is a horrible person who I hope meets his match and winds up regretting the way he steps on people. He is a lowlife without a doubt and anyone who hires him and his half wit project supervisor who can't remember anything is taking a chance. There are 50 lawsuits on record if one does a background check on Marks, both personal and business related.

You can tell when someone is very desperate. She is responsible for the loss of her dog and she is taking it out by making personal attacks about my stature of 5 foot 6.

Our company has 65 employees, a very good credit rating, unblemished contractor's record and over 75,000 satisfied customers.

If you think about it, why would our company be responsible for the life of her dog. The lady left her dog out, probably left the gate open and the dog got hit by a car. The neighbors don't like her and this is how they got even with her.

You can see for yourself the way her house is kept or unkempt.

This is 3 years later and she won't let go that she made a mistake and continues to blame others.
