Save your money and your time.

We rented from this "property management" company and it was as if we had to buy the house and the problems it came with. We were told our rental was ready to move into. Upon getting all of our things to the house, not only was there a gas leak, the stove didn't work (the knobs were broken off), the refrigerator had a leak in it causing the doors to freeze shut, there was no hot water, and over 50 roaches. As if that wasn't horrible enough, within the first 30 minutes of being there and trying to hook up the washer and dryer, sewage bursted through the kitchen sink flooding the house with sewage and human waste. We reached out to our "property management" company immediately and not only were we expected to pay for the damages, they didn't want to replace anything. After pulling teeth we got a stove and refrigerator in which they expected us to pay for the ice to come with the refrigerator, who's heard of such a thing? Then, to fix the gas leak and hot water heater problem, the city had to come out and inspect the property only to find that there was a major gas leak, the house hadn't been inspected since 1959 and we had to turn off the furnace and AC because it was detremental to blow at any point due to faulty wiring. We went 3 weeks with no hot water becuase it was up to the "property management" to fix the issues before the city would turn on the gas or hot water. 

After this debacle came the onset of all the roaches. There were over 50 roaches within the first couple hours. We had to stay in a hotel room on several nights while we paid for the bug people to come out and get rid of them. As it turns out there was a huge hole in the roof that hadn't been fixed. Ontop of all the roaches, there were dead animals living in the attic.

All of which we were expected to pay for. Don't try to call in a maintenance request, it will not happen. Please run from this company as fast as you can.

A lawyer should look into their spending with the tenant deposits. As we cleaned our house spick and span, top to bottom. There was no carpet, so no new carpet needed to be put down. We left the house in better shape than when we got there, and even had to pay for the damages that were already there, and still did not receive our deposit. A lawyer should also look into their business practice as there are certainly laws that are broken since they deal with binding contracts that they break daily.
