HIR Auto & RV Transport Company, Inc John & Amy TenEyck Held our 2-cars hostage for two weeks until we paid $1225 in cash even tho they had been paid by certified check by company relocating us Lake Havasu City, Arizona

HIR Auto Transport Company contracted to move our two cars from Tucson, AZ, to Winnemucca, NV.   That is 882 miles and agreed price was originally $900.    They picked up cars and later informed us that the delivery location was farther than first estimated; therefore, the price would be more......by $1225.     We had to pay upfront the original $900 + $100 (for gas), and they would bill the company that was paying to relocate us.   All the needed information was given to HIR and they made arrangements with the company as to when & where to deliver and how they were getting paid.  

Two weeks later still no vehicles.    They claimed the company had not paid them.    The company had sent one check already, but cancelled it and sent another by certified mail.     Before HIR would unload our cars they demanded we pay them $1125 + $100  (for gas).    We had no choice but to pay.     Couple of weeks later we found out that HIR received, signed for, and cashed the certified check.......and even admitted it.      All we have gotten back from them are lies about them reimbursing us.      I don't think we have been the first customers they have done this way.      All we want is our money back.
