Hiringmax and Fred Omidvar (owner) hires "independant contractors" which are actually employees according to the law. They use Hiringmax office space and equipment to perform staff functions directed by Fred Omidvar, but taxes and workers compensation are not filed.
Hiringmax and Fred Omidvar also fail to pay their "employees". Threats of Labor Board or lawyer action have to be made before payment is even considered. Although I only worked for a short time, I found it very frustrating to have my responsibilities increased, and yet be working for no compensation as I was not paid according to our agreement.
A previous report was filed stating that vendors had not been paid, and that there were Labor Board cases pending. I was not privy to that information, but fully support, and can produce documentation to the claims that employees are not paid!

Hello let me start saying that I am an ex-employee of Hiring Max. I was hired by Fred Omidvar, I will not say how long I have work for him, but it was long enough. I have to say some of the allegations are true but some I can not comment on it.
Fred you know deep inside, that most of this allegation is truth because you have not paid me as well for the time I have work for you.
So if you are interested in working or doing business with Fred Omidvar or Hiring Max please get a written contract, and do not believe any promises that Fred will say to you.
If you need more information you can ask I will gladly answer.

Last year I received an email to which I still have a copy on file were Fred was offering a "work from home" position that would pay $2,000 monthly base salary + benefits. I answer to the email and was instructed to report for three separate interviews, twice by Fred. The first two times the interview was on the email "work from home," add and the third one, in retrospect, I can conclude was the hook.
I will be straight to the point about his blatant lie regarding his so called employee agreements. The way Fred mislead me to work for him full time at his office was under the guise that he had already found someone for the "work from home" position. However, according to him, if I was willing to start working right away, he made it clear to me that I would make more than $2,000 monthly base salary working with him at the office. Naturally, I believed him and started to work when he told me to show up at his office in Fountain Valley.
Everyday Fred contacted me on the phone to talk to me about work and he always, somehow, cleverly would mention that he would be in the office the next day and would have the agreement ready for me to sign, that day never came.
Fred would constantly remind me of this agreement over the phone and I mean constantly since he was always calling me and the other "job Specialists" to see what I was doing at work.
Fred knowingly lied to me about an agreement and never paid me for the time I worked for him.
