HK International Limited / MeetWives HK International Limited / flirtlocal ANY site by HK International Limited is a ripoff Internet

Even though this review is about HK International Limited/Meetwives specifically, that is only one site hosted by these dirtbags, so if you are thinking about plunking down ANY money with ANY site operated by HK International Limited, go lie down until the urge goes away. 

There is a common format: You sign up for a "free" membership, and within minutes you receive three or four messages from attractive women, saying that they noticed your profile and want you to get in touch.  OF course, you can't - until you supplement your "free" membership by paying at least $29.95.

If you delay shelling out your money by 24 hours or so, one of the women who "contacted" you will send a message apologizing if she seemed weird or desperate, so just delete her, and she won't bother you again.

At this point, unless you have spent your life locked in a wicker basket, all your senses are screaming "Red Alert!" and making sounds like the dive warning alarm on one of the hokey old movies about submarines.  But, let's face it - you would not even be ON that site, unless you were drunk, lonely, horny or had just gone through a recent breakup, or all of the above.  So there is a (hopefully temporary) barrier between your (a) "what I know that I SHOULD do" and your (b) "what I am GOING to do, clause (a) notwithstanding.

So if you do what I did (i.e. shell out your money), be sure to keep the original messages, and enjoy them, because they are the last you are going to receive, no matter how many emails, friend requests or "like" you send out.  Hopefully that will not be very many, but if you happen to be a member of the Truly Desperate and Stupid club, consider having a guardian or conservator appointed to manage your affairs, because you should NOT ever have control of any sum of money greater than the current price of a gallon of gas.

You will notice, if you look around the site, that many of the women's narrative self-descriptions are identical word for word, and apparently, every potential sucker gets the same initial come-on messages (isn't THAT odd)/

And if you write a message to the company expressing skepticism, you will get a very rapid answer - IF you have not yet added a healthy dose of Vitamin "M" (meaning Money) to your "free" membership. The letter assures you that there are hundreds of thousands of real members all over the world, who regularly deluge the company with thank-you letters, after finding someone on that site.  Oddly enough, the company doesn't post any of those on the site- you would think that they could make up a handful of those as readily as the dreck they write for the stolen profiles.

They could at least caption each photo with the words "Photo of real woman, taken with real camera on genuine film (it was funnier before the digital photography age)"

Trust me - the ONLY way that you will meet that Special Someone as the result of dealing with HK International Limited is if the detectivve who takes your fraud complaint happens to be pretty hot, or at least feels sorry enough for you to give you a quick hand job while she takes your report!
