On July 8, 2005 we signed the contract for an inground pool with Hobert pools...... my pool was finished on September 2nd 2005...
To good to be true....wrong plaster...... wanted to give me my $$$ back for the up grade told them no want the right stuff in so we schedule it for the week after christmas... was told better to do it in the slow season....
Again to good to be true.... called the week b/4 they were due to come out and wanted to to then I had no choice and I was putting in a 90 hour week at work at that time....
Wanted to be there....LACK of TRUST.....
Again to good to be true..... after a couple of months the decking was no longer even with the coping..... called them sd they would come look at it.....
Now at this point Linda is not as friendly I was asked by David not to bother her any longer.... I was advised by Hobert Pools (linda) that they will fix it once.... then after it was my problem...
David stated it was best to wait and let it settle... So, in April 2006 I called to get it schedule for repair I was by Nora they we about 3 weeks out... guess how 3 weeks is by their count....
Repair was schdule for June 24, 2006.... Call reschdule for July 1st,2006.....HOLIDAY-ON VACATION... So, we changed our schedule Want to be here... NO TRUST----- In Hobert Pools...
SO here we are the morning of July 1st Nora calls early wanted to know the shape of the coping that was away from the coping...NOT being rude to Nora... very nice lady.... BUT
They built the pool you would think they would know the SHAPE of the pool... OK... here it is 3:30 pm and the guy is here... when I get back from a Wedding..... already working on the pool Drove up on my front lawn that I finaly was just getting repaired from the pool being built. Could get in through the back Hello I live on a Acre of land.... plenty of room
Now thank God I can speak Spanish .... Since that the REAL workers of Hobert Pools..... (the Hispanic) Now he tells me some else will have to come out to put the Mastic in he has no clue WHEN they will be out...
And to top it all off he Did not bring enough Coping with him so he will have to come back on July the 5th.... After the 4th of July... So, here I am now typing this Extremly Mad...... Since I have had cancel the 4th at home.... With MY GRANDCHILD!!!!!!! ... Please forgive the TYPOS ...I am just SO MAD!!!!!!

On July 3,2006 at around 10am, 3 guys showed up and finished the pool all but the mastic. Now... I'm no pool expert, but after all I Really feel I now have a smaller pool than I paid for. Adding the plaster change that they messes up. And now at the deep end. Under the coping there are cracks where the grout is about 1 inch thick. Uneven around from the deep end to shollow end.
When you stand at the deep end and look down towards the end of the pool it looks very nice. Stand at the shallow end and look down to the deep end. And you can see how deep the grout is from the coping to the tile. Then the mastic was done.
Now one Year to the date of the signed contact. I think there done I'll keep my fingers crossed. It was easier having my home built.
