Hoff Jewelry ripoff Horrible craftmenship unethical sale Burnsville Minnesota

I picked out my engagement ring at Hoff in the Burnsville Mall. A ring was on desplay in their front window. The ring had a 2 karat diamond and I asked if they could do it with a 1 karat. They agreed but said it would have to be custom made. I let my fiance take over from here. When he finally popped the question I opened the box and took out the ring, not having seen it before then. The ring was lopsided and very crooked, not semetrical and just plain looked terrible. My fiance had not even opened the box to look at it (yes his fault)

Everyone knew I was getting engaged that day, so I had to show this ring to everyone and my fiance and I were quite embarrased.

When I called Hoff they claimed that the wax mold that the ring was made from had been squished and that is why it looked this way. There is NO excuse for this! The ring was HAND made!!!

The manager did not even say sorry!
