 I contracted with the company over a year ago for a pool to be built in my backyard and it is still not completed due to the company's negligence.  I signed the contract in May 2012 for an in-ground pool to be built in my backyard.  It was supposed to be done by late June 2012.  The permit was not granted until November 2012  as told to me by the President, Gary Hohne, and the dig did not start (which we agreed upon) until April 2013.  The dig started as scheduled and the pool was supposed to be completed by the end of April 2013.  Nothing but a whole and the frame has been done.  It seemed to have failed inspection twice.  They tell me now that the hold-up is the electrical permit that was supposed to be granted 3 weeks ago this Friday (6/21/2013).  I paid an initial $7835 down the day I signed the contract 5/22/2012.  I paid an additional c.$14,900 for materials in November/December 2012 supposedly so there would not be an increase in price.  I have also paid c.$4650 when the dig started in April 2013.  My sales rep is Lauren Dillon who will generally responds by email with an excuse for every 'hiccup'.  I purchased the Optima shaped 16X32ft in-ground pool that after being delivered, does not come with a bench at the deep end.  All payments have been made by a personal checking account (by check).  They sub-contracted all the work so far and tries to place the blame with them.  The subcontractors can only work with what's given.  Hohne is mostly unresponsive and when he has occassionally called to make empty promises, he's been pretty nasty and sarcastic.  Very poor customer service has been displayed by this company right after signing the contract.  Never sign with this company.  It's almost a complete and utter ripoff, not for the subcontractors used, Leisure Pools.
