Holdenville Oakridge Community SHADY, THIEVING LIARS Holdenville Oklahoma

Close friends and family of mine live in Oakridge Community and I would like to report just a few of the infractions and terrible things I've seen there. I only hope this does some good because something needs to be done about the way they run things.

First: they have 2 small parks for the kids of the community which is great until they let a REGISTERED child molester move into one of the units and it took several calls before anything was done, but not by them, the police had to go out there and arrest him after a complaint was filed because he was taking pictures of all the kids at the playground.

Second: someone threw a big rock (on purpose) hard enough to break the window of one DISABLED unit from the outside and they made the renters of the disabled unit pay $200 to replace it instead of charging the culprit.

THIRD: After some investigation, I found out that the same DISABLED unit found black mold growing in the walls of the back bedroom, the air conditioning vents, and under the tile in the bedroom and hallway. The mole grew because the unit flooded every time it rained and even though the office had been told several times, they took 5 years to stop the flooding. When informed about the mold, months later they finally sent maintenance to fix the problem but all they did was START covering it up and they didn't even finish. It has been a year since they "started" and it is still not done. Now the mold spores are growing back. Two of the disabled people in the unit are on oxygen and CPAP machines but their health has severely declined since the mold started growing.

FOURTH: All units have central heat and air. 3 of the units a/c' s are leaking into the hallways and/or bedrooms. They have all filed reports but again nothing was done to fix them.

FIFTH: Nearly every person that lives there has been charged a ridiculous amount of money for repairs that weren't their fault. Anywhere from faulty or outdated dishwashers to 6 year old loose towel racks. It is to the point that the residents are afraid to say anything to management about the MUCH NEEDED repairs in order to avoid outrages charges but instead save money by hiring a specialist themselves. These are just a few of the infractions these people are getting away with. I truly hope for the safety, health and all around well-being of these residents that something is done soon. I would also like to say that I am writing this report on my own.....not as a request from the residents. More than anything I do not wish for any of these people to be evicted and lose their home (no matter how awful the place may be) because some of these people have nowhere else to go. They have no knowledge of this article and should not be punished for my actions. I would also like to state that I have proof of every accusation in this article and have stated nothing but facts.
