Holiday Group LLC continued to deduct $90 twice a month from my personal bank account, long after the Missouri statutory cap of the loan had been paid off. They will not offer a refund, as they say that I owed the money no matter what because when I signed the contract I forfeited Missouri laws.
This is not true. All lenders who lend to consumers in the State of Missouri must be licensed and must follow Missouri law, regardless of where the lender is located. I am due a substantial refund as I grossly overpaid for a $300 payday loan--to the tune of $1,170.
In communicating with them they say to have my lawyer contact "Andrew." I shouldn't have to get a lawyer, they should be forced to return the overpayment without me having to pay for an attorney.

The Same Thing Happened to Me with This Co.
AUTHOR: C.C. - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Monday, October 01, 2012
Like yourself, I, too, received a loan in the amount of $300...dated back Aug, 2011. To date, I have OVER-PAID the Holiday Group, LLC, $2220.00. I forwarded them an ACH Revocation letter via fax on 17 Sept. Today, 1 Oct, they send me an email and say that my account has been turned over to collections.
Per the lending laws in the state of NJ, Payday Loans are PROHIBITED and they knew this, but have continued to do business and prey on the innocent.
I have requested my refund, so we will see; I instructed them in my letter that phone calls to me or my place of employment weren't permitted. So they can have collections to call; they have broken my State's laws......
Hopefully there will be some justice done soon!
