Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis South East GEORGE REED WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Indianapolis Indiana

Let me start by saying I was reserving a room for the Big Ten Championship on December 5th.  I made sure that I could cancel if my team didn't get in.  I reserved the date on November 7th for the Big Ten Championship is on December 5th. On November 23rd I called to cancel the room but I was told by George Reed (the GM I was told) that a 14 day cancelation had been put on all the rooms because of the Big Ten Championship game.  I would have never agreed to those conditions not knowing if the team that I followed would be in the game. When I told him that the email I had recieved said I could cancel within 24 hours of my check in date he (George Reed the GM I was told by employees) told me that it was a generic form that they sent out to everyone! The generic form had my name, address, check in date, departure date, and conformation #!  Does that sound generic to you?!! It certainly does not to me. It was the only conformation sent to me by Holiday Inn Express South East.  I tried 4 times with these people including twice with what I was told by employees was the "GM" George Reed to make a resolution to this. Once on the 11/23/15, 2 times on 11/24/15, and again on 12/1/15 which I recorded. On 11/23/15 George Reed told me to check my email confirmation, and I did. On 11/24/15 George Reed  was short when I explained to him that the email sent to me said, and I quote, "Please cancel at least 24 hours prior to the day you arrive to avoid pentaly charges".  He kept saying "thats just a generic form we send to everybody".  Well, might not want to send that out anymore because it is a CONTRACT that YOU have to HONOR.  This place is trash and they will screw you over any chance they get.  I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get this resolved.  And the sad thing about it is they will most likely illegally book my room that he has charged me for.  There are plenty of hotels in this area, please do not let this Hotel screw you over like they thought they did with me.  What a bad way to  do buisiness.  I hope this helps anyone out that might be staying in the area.  Holiday Inn Express South East and the way I was treated by what I was told is the GM is just bad business!
