Holidays Network Group Attend a presentation and receive a free gift.

I was recently approched by this group at a Marlins game. They tell you the presentation will be no more than 2 hours and you receive a free gift after, which they have you choose while you are there. All you have to do is be over 27 and choose the free gift after they charge you 30 dollars which is to be refunded after the presentation.

When we attended the presentation, we were fist told it could be 90-120 mins and there is no pressure to buy. The presentation took 3 hours and we were approached by two managers after we said no thanks to try to sell us again. This would have all been fine if we received what was promised... At the end of the presentation we were indeed given our 30 dollars back and the "free gift".

In this case, a trip to Cancun. You have 30 days to activate the card and a year to pick the dates. The problem bagan once we read the terms and conditions which clearly say must be 30 years or older. This whole time they knew our age and even in the inital interaction we were advised we were old enough to qualify. They love showing you their partners to show their credibility but it seems they are like every other vactation rental place out there.

We were flat out lied to. Furthermore, after calling the number on the card given to us, we were told that they cannot do anything to help. We tried getting a number to call the HNG but this seems to not be readily available. Moreover, as soon as you hear more info on this "free gift" you are instantly advised of charges and fees that need to be paid.
