Hollywood Accessory Multiple Credit Card Charges For Items Not Received--No Refund For Returned Items--Company Totally Unreachable! Los Angeles California

I've been ordering from this company for at least two years NEVER with any problem. However, as of 7/21, I placed an order for a purse costing $88.00; received it 2 days later and decided to return it, UNUSED, NEW CONDITION, TAGS IN PLACE. I called the company for a return authorization number. They were very nice, gave me the number and advised they would dismiss the restocking fee as well. I returned the purse the next day, which would've been approx. 7/26/08. The company's policy is to not expect to see a return credit for 4-6 weeks. Of course, to this day, I HAVE NOT received the credit from my returned item. I also placed another order for a purse totaling $83.64 on 7/27/08. My mother who lives in the same household as myself, placed an order with this company on the same day on 7/27/08 for a wallet totaling 32.88. As of today, this company has charged me for the purse & charged my mother for the wallet WITHOUT shipping us the items. My mother & I have BOTH called the company repeatedly, and all we receive is the company voicemail which is constantly full. I was fortunately (so I thought) somehow able to leave a message one day on their answering machine, thinking SOMEONE would respond; also it let me know that someone was STILL there because that specific day, I was able to leave a voice message. I stated my name, the order numbers, my phone number, but have received no call back nor has my mother. I have also emailed them many times, as recently as YESTERDAY, just wanting to know the status of the order of the purse & wallet charged, but not shipped, as well as the credit for the purse I ALREADY RETURNED back to them in July; but AGAIN, no response. I can only assume, this company suddenly went under or just last minute decided to start scamming customers, as their website is NOW DISABLED; phone still in service but NO RESPONSES!!!
