Hollywood Motor Co. Stole a purse, sold a lemon and contract fraud St. Louis Missouri

I arrived at Hollywood Motors to help a female friend buy a car. I just bought a truck a month ago from a ford dealer off of 270. The Hollywoold salesman call my phone and told me my friend couldn't get a car because she wasn't on her job long enough. I told James the salemen manager we would come in and talk about it. James told me that after she reach a 6 month period on the job. My friend Crystal can take over the contract.

I later found out it was a lie. James told me this wouldn't effect my credit. I was trying to buy a home. He told me with my A-1 credit it would hurt it. I bought a 96 astro mini van, the day after my friend took the van back to Hollywood motors to get some repair work done on it and to lower the price on the contract by getting a cheaper warranty. James toldl me because they made a mistrake on the paper work and I had to sign the paper work all over again.

I got there my freind told me her purse was missing for a while, she went back home to look for it and came back to the lot only to find it in the back of the van, with orignal paper missing. I notice the new paper work was 500 dollars more, without the orignal paper work I couldn't prove it. The owner later settled with me and gave me a check for half of the 500 dollars. Just two weeks later the van broke down.

The warranty did'nt cover the repairs because the 969 dollar bill was under maintenance charges and the warranty din't cover maintenace. A month later the vehicle was shorting out fuses. I took it back to the repair shop. The engine was replaced poorly. It cause me 600 dollars which was not covered by the warranty. The mechnic told me don't ever buy any thing from Hollywood motors again.

I reported and tried to sue Hollywood motors for contract fraud. The Better Businees Bureau couldn't help nor Jay Nixon Hot line. My lawyer Kenneth H. Gilbert was a crook too, he just took my money. I learned a very good lesson, I will never set foot on a car lot in St. Louis. Nobody will do a thing to help consumer victoms.
