Allegations include misappropriation of trade secrets, theft of intellectual property, unfair business practices and other charges.

Executive producers Jim DeCicco and Brent Harvey, along with the Hollywood Music Awards are currently being sued for misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair business practices and unfair competition. According to their website, Eworld Music, a subsidiary of Eworlde Companies, Inc. is the major player behind the scenes. Eworlde Companies, Inc. recently went public with their stock and currently find their stocks rising on a series of press related announcements regarding their involvement with the first year Hollywood Music Awards.

In the plaintiffs filing from the LA Music Awards and it's founder Alfred Bowman, Eworlde's Hollywood Music Awards has built it's brand on trade secrets stolen from Bowman's offices and email lists by Executive producers Jim DeCicco and Brent Harvey. Bowman alleges that a willful and malicious attempt has been made by the Hollywood Music awards to compete unfairly with the LA Music Awards through a series of actions, including scheduling their event on the same day, near the same location, with the identical format. The plaintiffs allege that the defendants have been blindly soliciting plaintiffs customers from customer lists obtained during their tenure working as subcontractors for the Los Angeles Music Awards, now in it's 18th year as an established, yearly event.

Plaintiffs are moving ahead with plans for a jury trial in 2009, seeking actual and punitive damages in excess of seven figures. For those interested in researching online to verify the authenticity of this news release, go to http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/ and type in case number BC385498.

In 2007 Jim DeCicco was involved in another litigation with former CEO Ken Hollowell, who together attempted to illegally acquire Bowman's business interest in the ownership and operation of the LA Music Awards. Hollowell received an order from the California Attorney General's office to no longer be able to conduct business using fradulent means.
