I signed up for the 2 week trial for $1.95 with hollywoodprofiles.com AKA Pinnacle Information Systems and now these scam artists have charged me $49.95 that I never agreed to.
I have contacted my bank and got all of my money refunded to me to my account. They told me what hollywoodprofiles.com does is illegal because they do not clearly state that I will be charged this amount making it illegal for me to to get charged.
If this happened to you, just call your bank and they will return all the money these scam artists took from you. Also call your local attorney general and file a report against them here along with the www.bbb.org. This site should be called ripoffprofiles.com instead of hollywoodprofiles.com.

50 buck for an undocumented product

The same exact thing happened to me. I came across the site and was highly interested in the opportunities they apparently "provided". The site said that it was $1.99 to REGISTER, no other expenses were cited or disclosed. I thought I was embarking on a possible life changing career but instead I seemed to have set sail and caught the wind of a scam artist. After logging in and discovering to my dismay that 95% of these "opportunities" were expired, I logged out and forgot all about my foolish 2 dollar investment. What I did not know what that it would cost me an additional 49.95 as I discovered when I looked at my account statement a few weeks following. Needless to say I was furious and called my bank ASAP. I am still in the process of trying to recover my STOLEN money from this "company". I have done some research and have discovered that what they have done is completely ILLEGAL. By not citing a specific price under the contract in addition to the $1.99, they have "breached a contract". I am very suprised that no legal consequences have come about towards this conning company. They need to be shut down and penalized suverly for breaking the law as well as tarnishing the entertainment business. I you have a similar story please let it be heard.
